Matlock Forest Plan 2025-2035 Consultation
Forestry England have opened a consultation on the future management of the 7 woodlands that make up Matlock Forest. This is an important document that sets out how Forestry England will manage these woodlands, covering timber felling and re-planting but also items important to the community such as nature conservation, heritage and public access.
The consultation runs until 19th December 2025.
Please respond! Say who you are, where you live and how you use the Forest. Make the case for more community engagement, more space for nature and better facilities for public use and access.
