Farley Hill and Flash Dam Toad Watch – can you help?

Can you help Natalia with the TOAD PATROL on Farley Hill and Flash Dam this year?

Our amphibian friends need a hand for this year’s #toadsonroads campaign. This involves putting toads in buckets and helping them across the road so they don’t get squished by cars. They move en- masse when conditions are warm and wet, so as soon as it starts to get milder they will move! Migration can last from Feb-April.

With your help many hundreds of small lives can be saved. Since it began the Toads on Roads campaign has helped over 2 million toads! There are several patrols around Matlock, and Natalia helps coordinate the Farley Hill/Flash Dam one.

If you would like to help, please drop her a private message and she can add you to the WhatsApp group (or other communication method of your choice.)
