Campaign Victory at Planning Committee

The Save Farley Moor Campaign celebrated a major victory when Derbyshire Dales District Council refused planning permission for Forest Holidays’ proposed holiday lodge development at Farley Moor.

Following months campaigning, public opposition, expert objections and strong local support, councillors voted against the application, recognising the importance of protecting this valued woodland and landscape for future generations.

While this was a significant milestone, our campaign continues to ensure Farley Moor remains protected from inappropriate development.
