A big thank you to our newest supporters, Lindsey and John, whose first event with Save Farley Moor / Friends of Matlock Forest was a walk in Farley Wood in the  pouring rain!  Seven of us met for a walk with Casimir from Darley Dale Community Radio.

The first mistake was getting out of the car saying ‘it’s the first day when it’s not raining!’. Cue non stop rain from then on, but the group kept going through bog, puddles and soggy moss to the Stone, whilst Casimir recorded our thoughts on the importance of the Wood, and our feelings about the  proposed development.
